New teeth
May 24, 2021, 7:38 PM- Q: My dog is teething and the lower “fang” teeth have erupting adult teeth next to them and haven’t fallen out yet. It’s been about two/two and half weeks and the adult teeth seem to be pretty in-place while the puppy teeth haven’t moved yet. Not sure if these should have also fallen out by now?
- A: How old is your puppy? You can encourage loosening of the temporary teeth with tug o war games. If you are planning to spay or neuter your puppy they can be removed if still present. They are not causing a problem.
