Diarrhea from Diet or Disease?

Q: Our puppy was diagnosed with Giardia, and has been on 2 rounds of medication for it. He has been on chicken and rice for the last 4 days. Today he started having diarrhea greenish orange color and his last attempt to poop was nothing liquid. He running around and doesn't seem sick at all and he's eating well. Do you think this is an allergic reaction to chicken (the guy we got him from has been feeding him chicken ever side we got him) or do you thin this is still the parasite or is there something more we should be doing to help the lil guy out. we are suppose to move him from chicken and rice to 1/2 normal puppy food tomorrow just fyi.

A: I would feel the most likely cause is related to an intestinal infection which could still be giardia as it can be stubborn. Can you send me the medications and dosages and duration that he has had and I will comment.
