New Puppy Settling in
March 5, 2016, 1:11 PM- Q: 1.)new 8 week old Cavapoo will sleep in her shipping crate but will not settle in the larger crate we have . 1) It has a dividing wall and we've set the area so it's larger enough for him to be comfortable. 2.) Puppy came with instructions to start him on Valbazen afer 3 days and Marquis after 10 days. Is this a normal preventative practice? Thank you for your advice.
- A: If your puppy prefers the smaller space I would let her have that as only option. The preventive care instruction you were provided are meant to keep the puppy out of trouble. If you have her stool checked by your vet and it is negative then you may not need to give the medications provided.
