Q: I am a new pet owner and am looking for recommendations on what to consider when selecting a vet? I am also looking for recommendations for vets in my area.

A: Usually the best plan is checking with neighbors or coworkers and if you hear a name more than once start there. You can also check with a couple boarding or daycare centers and see if they will recommend someone.
