gaining weight too fast?
August 8, 2016, 11:51 PM- Q: My 4 mo. old Mal-Shih Teddy Bear weighed 5.4 lbs when I got her three weeks ago. Now she weighs 7. She is very roly poly, but active. Is she overweight? How much should I expect her to gain per week or month?
- A: 1/2 pound per week is a little much for her expected size and weight but they do go through spurts. Keep a check on her gain over the next month but it should level off.
