Barking out of control
June 3, 2017, 9:41 AM- Q: My Cavalier is now 5 months old. Love him so much. How do I control his barking. Take for walks park he gets uncontrollable barking when he sees other dogs or animals I cant even holld down. Thanks
- A: If simple correction measures have failed it seems that some type of "antibark" collar is the best option. They come in models that use objectionable sounds and/or smells to low level shocks. Pick the type of correction that seems reasonable to you. There are also hand held devices that can work if you are always present during his barking episodes.
