Training Tips

Training routine is exhausting

July 8, 2017, 10:17 PM
Q: We have a 12 week old Cavapoo. He sleeps in a crate, but eliminates outside. We have been taking turns staying up to 11:30 it 12 at night to walk him and then we let him out of the crate and walk him at 5:30. Can we start taking him out at night earlier soon? We are exhausted and would like to get to sleep earlier.
A: "Housebreaking" really is teaching your puppy to adapt and anticipate your routine. Pick the schedule that suits your lifestyle and wait for your puppy to learn it. If you only bend to meet his needs you will be locked into that.
