Q: I have a 4lbs 7 week old pomsky. Only had him for a couple of days. I return him to the palace after eat, play etc. No matter how long I leave him in the palace or how long I wait after he wakes up (close to an hour). As soon as I open the door he eliminates on the floor. He also preferres to sleep on the pad instead of the bed. And if he's left alone at all he crys and tears up his pad. So far I've fallowed all of the Doctor pup tips, was just curious if there was anything further I could be doing to help the little guy out. Thank you
A: If you allow him to walk out of the palace before he eliminates it will send the wrong message to him. You either have to leave him no matter how long it takes or you pick him up from the palace and take him outside. It sounds like you are giving in to his demands rather than setting the routine.
