Doing Okay with Crate Training
October 30, 2014, 5:28 PM- Q: Our new puppy is almost 12 weeks- Cavashon. We're doing regular crate, just big enough to sleep. No pads. Is it okay for her to stay all night in crate - about 7 hrs? We've done this 4 nights now - no peepee or poopoo, but she does cry the 1st 30-45 min.
- A: Hopefully your success will continue, As long as she eats well before retiring it is okay to let her go through the night. Stick to the plan and don not go back while she is crying and she should accept bedtime within a few days.
