Moving the Palace

October 11, 2017, 7:28 AM
Q: Our puppy has been sleeping downstairs in his Palace every night with no problem. The last three nights when my husband goes to get him, he is barking early at 6:30 a.m., I was normally the one to get him and I didn't get him until 7:30 a.m. He is barking when he comes up the stairs and wakes up everyone in the house. He never did that with me. He was quiet. Not sure what to do and why he is doing this. The only thing that we changed is having my husband go get him versus me. I hurt my back from carrying up the cage so I couldn't do it anymore.
A: I am not sure I understand moving the palace with the pup in it. It is best not to change the location. No one should respond to him unless he is quiet or you may be encouraging the barking without realizing it.
