How Much Exercise

April 7, 2015, 7:07 PM
Q: 10 week old male Havanese in the puppeepoo palace. Day 4, he is clawing and biting at his peepee pad, and tore one up. We clap real loud and shout no. He has stopped after having to repeat several times. What can I do if behavior persist. He has two toys, but looks extremely bored. He is getting approx 45 min of exercise daily.
A: The biggest part of your problem is related to exercise, your puppy's routine would normally allow 45 minutes of exercise each 3-4 hours. Keeping this in mind and also in accordance with your schedule just means you have to accept some of his discontent. It will improve as he learns your schedule. This is a common problem for busy families. Try to add as much exercise as possible while you are home.
